TED [Numerical Control Computer Sciences]

TED is a full-featured editor that allows manipulation of NC tape filesand NCL clfiles. Text editing features include cut and paste, masssubstitutions, string searches, character/line, and insertion anddeletion operations.NC tape editing features include math routines (rotating, scaling,translating, mirroring), numeric format conversions, circularinterpolation format conversion (nine types of circular interpolationformats are supported), and resequencing and direct interface to plotroutines. Clfiles are converted to text as they are read in, edited, andoutput as either an updated clfile or a text file. User-friendlyprompting and an online help file makes TED easy to learn and use.
